Saperavi

«Saperavi» in Yekaterinburg serves Georgian and Caucasian cuisine under the guidance of chef Zurab Bakradze. The kitchen follows national traditions: they cook kharcho and chikhirtma, shape khinkali, stew chakhokhbili and ajapsandali, and prepare satsivi and mujuji. Guests are offered twelve kinds of shashlik, khachapuri in various shapes, lobio, and the dessert churchkhela, while matsoni with berries is served for breakfast or as a starter. Many ingredients are brought directly from Georgia: beans for lobio, Svan salt, homemade adjika, tkemali plums for sauce, aromatic spices, and Georgian tea. This approach to ingredients preserves the authentic taste of the dishes. The restaurant's wine list features Georgian wine, including varieties aged in qvevri using an old technique, as well as cognac and chacha. During the day, the restaurant offers business lunches for those who don't have time for a long meal. The restaurant plans to launch Sunday family dinners with vakhshas: guests will be offered an assortment of khinkali, shashlik, and khachapuri at a fixed price. «Saperavi» can be found at 48 Gurzufskaya Street, near the Ploshchad 1905 Goda and Geologicheskaya metro stations. The average check at the restaurant ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles.
