Yasnaya Polyana

«Yasnaya Polyana» is a house-restaurant of Russian cuisine in the historic part of Barnaul, at 30 Lva Tolstogo Street. Food here is cooked in an open kitchen in a real wood-fired oven, preserving the traditions of Russian cooking while presenting them in a modern way. Fresh, fragrant bread and pies come straight from the oven — they're baked right on site. The menu includes Siberian borscht with marbled beef and soaked berries, as well as veal shank braised for twelve hours. The chefs work with local produce and aim to revive traditional recipes, adding new cooking techniques to them.
